Session Info:

Each session includes approximately 30 minutes of slatmill time, but first-time dogs may need 5 to 10 minutes at the beginning to get comfortable with the van, equipment, and overall environment.
We work at your dog’s pace, using positive reinforcement to help them build confidence.
Once they’re ready, we’ll guide them into a walk, trot, or run—always with hands-on supervision to ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable workout.

Tips for a Successful Session

Comfort:

Ensure your dog is comfortable and has a chance to relieve themselves before starting.

Hydration:

Maintain a good balance of hydration but avoid overdrinking just before the session.

Before the Session:

Feeding:

Avoid feeding your dog(s) 2 hours before or after the session to prevent issues like bloat.

Water Intake:

Keep your dog(s) hydrated but avoid giving them excessive water immediately before the session.

Potty Breaks:

Provide your dog(s) with a few potty breaks before arriving to ensure they’re comfortable.

Harness:

If your dog(s) wear a harness with a back attachment, you can bring it along. We also have harnesses available if needed.

During and After the Session:

Initial Visits:

We recommend staying with your dog(s) for the first 2-3 sessions to help them feel comfortable. After that, you’re welcome to drop off and pick up your dog(s) as needed.

Post-Session:

After their run, your dog(s) will be happily exercised and ready to relax. Allow them to rest on a cool surface or cuddle with them for recovery.

Reminder:

Do not feed 2 hours before or after exercise to avoid bloat. Do not allow excessive water intake before or after exercise.
